Q. Are you a manufacturer?

A. Yes.

Q. Do you make tailor-made/ bespoke/ customized bags?

A. Yes we specialize in bespoke and customized bags.

Q. Which fabric do you use for bags?

A. We use earth-friendly fabrics for producing bags such as jute, juco, cotton, canvas & non-woven PP. These fabrics can be dyed to specific colour using AZO free inks subject to MOQ.

Q. How do I supply artwork for branding?

A. Digital vector artwork as an Adobe Illustrator file (.eps or .ai) with texts converted to objects. If submitted as Photoshop minimum resolution must be 300dpi at 100% print size.

Q. What is the lead time for manufacturing?

A. Depend upon the quantity, branding, design etc.

Q. Does manufacturing lead-time includes sampling time?

A. No.

1. What can I expect from Hans Raj Mahajan & Sons?

Ethical business policy & Quality assurance are the foundation of our company. We are promised to provide you the best quality products to maintain a long term relationship with you. We don’t think business means Profit rather we believe business means Profit with Ethics.

2. Can I have a price list?

We have no price list. We are a CUSTOMISED BAGS manufacturer so we have infinite variations of style, size, handle type & printing so it is not possible for us to make a price list. Prices are available as per your requirements.

3. Which details are required for a precise quotation?

4. Can I develop my own designed bag?

Yes. If you can’t find your exact required bag in our website then please send us an e-mail with complete description of your bag & budget. We will design a bag for you with the help of your details.

5. Can you send me some samples?

Yes. This is our fundamental job to provide you samples before ordering. Samples are available at 10 to 30 dollars each (depends on bag category) with freight collection. Generally, we take 5 to 8 days to prepare the samples.

6. What is your minimum quantity (MOQ)?

Our minimum quantity is 1000 pieces to 5000 pieces (depends on bag style & material)

7. How can I be assured of the quality?

We think promise has no value if we cannot keep it. Therefore, before shipping, you can inspect your goods at your own cost to be assured of quality.

8. What is the lead-time for 1000 pieces of jute shopping bags?

Our normal lead-time is 25-35 days for the specified quantity (Production time). But if you have any urgency, you should inform us before placing the order.

9. What is the packing method of the bags?

Generally, we pack our bags in a 7-ply corrugated box with a polybag inside. If you want to pack each bag in a single polybag, you have to inform us before submitting the quotation. Specific carton size is available on request for 20000 pieces or more bags.

10. What is jute?

Jute is a plant-based fibre. Jute Fabrics is 100% Environment-friendly since it requires minimum chemical treatment before weaving into textile whereas cotton requires much chemical treatment.

11. Is jute 100% Biodegradable?

Yes. Jute is 100% Biodegradable and totally Eco-friendly.

12. What are 13X13 FJF, 15X14 FJF, 17X17FJF & 24x24FJF jute fabrics?

These are the type of fabrics, these two numbers are the yarn count along length & width per square inch.

13X13 is medium grade fabrics, 15X14 is standard grade fabrics & best type of fabrics for any kind of jute bags, 17X17 is finest grade fabrics used for making drawstring & fashion bags, 24X24 is most premium grade fabrics can be used for making fashion bags. Even you can customize it as per your requirement like 15X15 or 16X16.

13. What is juco?

Juco is a natural fabric, which is blend of jute (75%) & cotton (25%).

14.Can my logo be printed on the jute bags or cotton bags?

Yes. We can print your logo or message on any position of our jute bags or the cotton bags.

15. How can I send my artwork?

You should send your artwork in the following file formats- PSD, CDR, and AI OR PDF.

16. How many colours can be printed?

We can print up to Customer requirements colours, but after submitting your printing matter, we can assist you by suggesting some modifications for better visibility.

17. How will you send me my consignment?

We will send you the consignment based on your choice of shipping mode. There are three options available for you.

  1. By Sea

This is very cost-effective method to ship the products. This method is not suitable for small quantity like 500/1000 pieces. In this method, the shipping time is approximately 4 to 6 weeks (depends on location). For FCL shipment, you can save both time & money.

  1. By Air

This is an expensive option of shipping but if you have urgency, it is the best way. In this method, transportation time is approximately 5 to 6 days.

  1. By Courier

This is a highly expensive method of shipping & better for smaller quantities because you don’t have to maintain the customs process in your country. In this method (DDU), you can get your goods to your door within 5 to 6 business days.

18. What are your delivery terms?

Our delivery terms are Ex. Factory, FOB, and C & F & CIF.

19. What is the meaning of FOB?

FOB prices includes Bags cost, packaging, carriage up to port & customs clearance in India, i.e. all costs except Freight only.

20. How much variation can I expect in a bag?

Sizes may vary up to 1cm.

21. What are the handles available with you?

We use cane handle, bamboo handle, self-fabric handle, cotton tape handle, cotton-padded handle, cotton rope handle, leather handle. For more details please visit our handles page.

22. Can I get any colour for my bags?

Yes. You can get any colour shade for your bags. For customised colour shade, you have to order a minimum of 2000 bags (depends on fabrics consumption).

25. Can I expect an exact colour shade?

No. Since all are natural fibres so colour fastness is not guaranteed and colour shades may vary lot to lot.

26. Can I pay the billing amount by Credit Card or Debit Card?

Yes, but small amount only. For shipments, you can pay by T/T or L/C.

27. Do you use polythene to laminate the fabrics?

We use PP or LDPE to laminate our fabrics for water resistance & durability.  

28. Do you use AZO free colours?

Yes. We use AZO free colours for both dyeing and printing.

29. 2 fabrics of same gsm, quality difference possible?

Yes, fabric depends on yarn quality so 2 fabrics of same gsm would be differ in quality due to yarn quality.

30. Can I Get A Sample?

Sure. You can get the samples as per your requirement. There is no charge for a sample bag but you need to provide us with your international courier account number i.e. DHL / UPS / FEDEX etc.

31.Can I Get My Logos/Designs Printed On The Bag?

You can have any logo/design of your choice printed on the bag.

32.What Policy Does Your Company Follows While Running The Business?
  • We are strongly against child labour & do not engage it.
  • Working conditions are safe and hygienic.
  • Statutory livings wages are paid to all our workers.
  • Working hours are complied with national laws.
  • No discrimination of any kind is tolerated.
33.I have placed an order, when will my order be delivered?

Once you place the order, below are the dispatch and delivery timelines we try and adhere to for the product deliveries.

34. I tried placing an order using my debit/credit/net banking. The order was not successful, but my money got deducted. What really happened with my money?

Please check your bank/credit card account to first ensure if the amount has been deducted. If your account has been debited after a payment failure, we would request you to contact your bank.

35.I messed up my shipping & billing address, what should I do?

If your order has not been dispatched yet from our warehouse, we are more than happy to correct the shipping address for you.

Just send a note to  --------- with your correct shipping address with the order id and we will update it for you.

If the order is dispatched, you will have to bear the return and shipment charges

36. How do I find the correct size for the bags?

Please refer to our detailed size chart in every product description for exact measurements.

37. What is your return/exchange policy?

Any product you order from our website, are custom- printed just for you. We always want to ensure that you love our products as much as we love making them for you. So we triple check every step along the way to guarantee their quality. Although we cannot accept returns on these custom printed products, we’ll be glad to replace any item you receive damaged.

38. How can I be assured of the quality when ordering jute and cotton bags?

At Bags, we provide documented quality assurance of our products with a guarantee of timely delivery. We have our internal surveyors who work through multiple Quality Assurance stages before we ship your order. Our clients are welcome to send a surveyor from their side at their expense to conduct a final examination before shipment for their own satisfaction.

39. QUALITY

All our bags are checked individually. However, for your satisfaction you can have the goods inspected by a third party of your choice at your cost prior to shipment.

40. ORDERING INFORMATION

All sizes are outside dimension in inches – height x width x gusset format.

Size variation should be acceptable by +/- 0.25 inches as the bags are handcrafted.

Please assist us for quick processing of orders by specifying Style Number, Front, Back and Sides Colour, Printing matter and colour, Quantity and Shipping date.

41. OVER AND UNDER RUNS

We reserve the right to ship and bill 5% over/under the order quantity.

42. LABELS

Customised labels, bar code sticker/hangtags are available at an extra cost.

43. VALUE ADD-ONS

The value of bag can be increased by including:

-Snap buttons/Velcro Closure

-Zipper closure

-Inside/Outside pockets (with or without zippers)

-Board for stiffer bottoms

-Your company/ brand name hang tags and wash care labels and customised packaging

44. CAN I SEE A VISUAL OF MY BAG BEFORE I PLACE AN ORDER?

Our creative design team has many years of experience and will be able to advice, produce visual, and CAD for you to see your finished bags.

45.What is the FOB Indian seaport?

Mumbai (Bombay) is for LCL shipments, for FCL shipments we also use Mundra or Pipavav.  We also use a dry port called Ludhiana/Jalandhar and for textile shipment, we sometimes use Tuticorin or Tirupur ports or Kolkata.

46. What is FOB Indian airport?

New Delhi, Amritsar, Mumbai, and Kolkata.

47. What are the payment terms?

For sea shipment orders, we normally work on 30 to 40% deposit and rest on BOL copy OR via L/C at sight or balance payment on shipment via wire transfer (TT). We can also accept L/C 30 to 90 days after doing a credit check on the client through Dun & Bradstreet (D & B) or our bankers. Special payment terms are acceptable in some cases also.

For air shipment, we normally work on 30 to 40% deposit and rest before shipment leaves from the factory.

48. What is the normal delivery time?

It is normally 4 to 6 weeks ex-India for small orders and for big orders it is 6 to 10 weeks ex-India, however for exceptional cases we can do it in lesser time. It all depends on demand and stock position in the factory. To process your orders faster processing, we might ask for a surcharge on a case-to-case basis. It is always better to keep extra 1-2 weeks, as there can be multiple problems like port congestion, strike, computer system down etc. (all this beyond our control)

49. Transit and shipment time?

From Indian seaport to European seaport, it normally takes 4-5 weeks’ time and for other major seaport 5-6 weeks, for air shipment it takes 1 week approximately. It is always better to keep 1-2 weeks as buffer, in case of any delay in vessel, strikes. Port congestion etc. Also, we always recommend that you double check with us all the shipment transit timings with us which your local shipping agent have told you as they are NOT fully aware of the Indian situation

50. Reach and safety standards?

We do all these products and have most of our products checked and certified, but in case you need any special certification for some particular project we can arrange the same against pre-payment by any International certification company

51. Factory Audit?

We have an audit report, which can be sent to you. We have been audited before in case your team wishes to audit the same can be arranged as well, with a prior appointment.

52. What is the HS (Harmonized System) code?

We can provide you with the same product and category-wise.

53. For sending the PI – Performa Invoice & SC – Sales Confirmation we need the following details?
  1. Company name – COMPLETE – it should be same as the company who is sending us the deposit – in case you need to send goods to some other address or country please provide your and their details complete along with the contact numbers.
  2. Complete address including the postal code- country name and contact number/email ID of logistic / shipping in-charge.
  3. Contact person and name (including mobile) of all Team members involved in this project.
  4. Airport / seaport main we will use – and final port name also.
  5. Payment terms are 50% deposit and rest 50% when we send you the BOL copy (for sea shipment) in case of air shipment 50% and rest 50% before the goods leave the factory.
  6. Any special instruction you have for the goods we MUST mention on the PI as we MUST have separate check list for our QC/QA team at the time we start the order. Check list client must send us advising all important points so that the production is carried accordingly.
  7. Packing labels / requirements special if any
  8. Shipping marks (extra sheet) on inner/outer boxes
  9. Any label/stickers or print required on the poly bags.
  10. Any applicable safety standards on our product you must double check at your end as well. COVID rapid testing kit is on approved vendor list of FDA and you can check online as well. We will supply the same model as per FDA guidelines only and it will be mentioned on the PI to avoid any issues or problems at later stage. For any other medical supplies please verify the standard details as well
  11. Mode of shipment: ex-works / FOB/ CIF or Door delivery

                                                      

In case of incomplete details, we cannot start the order production process, or the production can be delayed for which we are not responsible.

52. Sample policy –
  1. For 1 or 2 sample will sent you free samples, but you have to freight charges.
  2. For more 2or 3 samples, you have to pay both sample & freight charges.
  3. If you need customized sample, you have to pay customized cost, sample and freight cost for the same. Which amount will adjust in order.
